Lauren Helen Graham is an actress and an author who has published her work. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaiian on 16 March 1967. Pisces represents her zodiac. Her parents Donna Grant and father Lawrence Graham are both of English-Scottish descent. Graham graduated from high school within New York City in 1985. She was enrolled in a performing arts program within New York University but was shortly moved into Columbia's Women's College in Manhattan where she earned a B.A. American literature. Following graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles in hopes of beginning a career acting. In the past, she appeared as an actress on a variety of television shows. The cancellation in 2000 of sitcom M.Y.O.B. turned out to be a lucky timing as she landed the leading role on the T.V. Gilmore Girls, Lorelai Gilmore. Graham's reputation as an actress is known and respected among casting directors and producers. She has also received numerous nominations including Screen Actors Guild Award in 2000 and 2001 in addition to her Golden Globe Award in 2002 for the Best Actress Performance in a TV Series. Her most well-known role is her role as 'Angela Valdes', one of the leading parts in the telecast by Starz American crime-drama TV show Power. Lela was first offered acting classes by mistake in college. The experience inspired her to take up acting as a profession. After appearing in single episodes of popular American television police procedural show Cold Case Miami & NY, she caught people's attention. The Shield NCIS & Lost are among other TV shows she starred in. She had a major part in the web series H+ The Digital Series. Her major-screen adventures include some of the biggest film productions in Hollywood like the blockbuster action film Snitch (starring Dwayne Johnson) and the comedic film The Hangover Part III (starring Bradley Cooper). Her breakthrough came when she'd been working employed for some time, after she got the part as Angela Valdes the main role in the television series Power. The series allowed Lela to get noticed.
