Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor as well as a producer, director and playwright, teacher, and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at work. In her early years, Anna was featured in a variety of commercials. Then, in November 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career. She eventually moving into Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's love affair with Lauren, played by Zoie Parker, was showcased in the list of CNN's Top TV Couples of All Time and voted E!'s top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
