NF
Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991), known by his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American rapper, singer musician, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3 and a self-titled EP in 2014 in association with Capitol CMG. Mansion, his first major-label record, was released in March of 2015. His second album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016 and reached the top spot at 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have been honored by numerous awards. One of these is the Gospel Music Association Dove Award, Rap/Hip Hop Album Of The Year (Therapy Session). In 2017, Perception was a mainstream hit. It ranked at the top of the charts in the United States and was also certified platinum. When its third single "Let You Down" reached number 12 on the U.S. charts, NF gained mainstream popularity in 2017. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the U.S. and was also a top 10 worldwide chart hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. The album also enjoyed the same commercial success. Feuerstein said that rap was his escape from the world during his youth. He would record music on an karaoke machine and record instrumentals on one mic and his raps on the other. Feuerstein independently released Moments, the first album of his studio album on November 29, 2010. He released his debut single, "Alone", on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's writers and producers. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work during 2012. Feuerstein released his extended work I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012, with production by Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The album featured an exclusive version featuring Sean Simmonds of "Alone". Xist teased the release the self-titled extended piece, NF. However, Feuerstein was able to separate from the label because of a dispute. Production of NF was delayed. NF was still a single with Shuree William "Only One", on the compilation album of the label. Move Vol 1 On November 4 2013 he dropped the single "Beautiful Addiction". The track featured a second appearance from Profitt, as well as the voices of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
